AI Statement

I work with authors who are writing their own work.

Manuscripts submitted for editorial services should be written by the author. This includes avoiding the use of AI tools to generate or substantially rewrite content. Editing is most effective when it builds on your voice, your decisions, and your intent—something that can’t be meaningfully supported if the work has been produced by AI.

If you have used AI in a limited or specific way (for example, brainstorming or outlining), you’re welcome to mention this when submitting your manuscript so I can understand how the work has been developed.

Your Work

All work you submit must be your own, or something you have the rights and permission to share.

My Commitment

I do not use AI tools to edit, rewrite, analyse, or process your manuscript.

Your work will never be uploaded, shared, or fed into any AI system, model, or training process. Everything is reviewed directly and handled with care, confidentiality, and respect for your authorship.

Why This Matters

Editing is not just about correcting text. It’s about understanding what you’re trying to say, how it’s coming through, and how everything fits together. That kind of work relies on human judgement, attention, and context.

My approach is built on working closely with your writing as it is, not replacing or generating it.
